How to Play

How to Summon

  • Pieces have tabs and blanks on their four sides.
  • There are both common blanks for non-elemental use and blanks dedicated to specific elements.
  • If all tabs of a piece are connected, that piece’s unit or spell is summoned to the battlefield.
  • Some pieces have flat sides with no connections.

Manipulating Hand Pieces

  • Drag and drop onto the board to place them.
  • Click or use a button to rotate them.

Types of Pieces

  • Unit Piece: Summons a unit onto the battlefield.
  • Spell Piece: Activates its effect immediately without summoning a unit.

Deck Construction

  • A deck must contain at least 30 pieces.
  • Pay attention to the balance of tabs, blanks, and elements.

Phases

The game has two phases: the Summon Phase and the Battle Phase.

  • Summon Phase: Time to place pieces on the summoning board.
  • Battle Phase: Units already placed fight each other.

Game End Conditions

  • Destroying all opponent units during the Battle Phase wins the game.
  • If the deck and hand are empty, only the Battle Phase continues.

Summoning Board Rules

  • The board is 3×3 squares.
  • Pieces must be placed adjacent to existing ones. Blanks next to blanks are allowed even without connection.
  • Placing beyond the board pushes pieces outward, and pushed-out pieces are removed.

Connection Rules

  • Summoning succeeds if all tabs are connected to blanks of other pieces.
  • Blank-to-blank placements are not connections, but they are allowed.
  • The tab and blank positions of each piece change randomly.

Order of Multiple Summons

  • The placed piece is summoned first.
  • Then summoning proceeds clockwise, starting from the piece above it.

Elements and Affinities

Pieces belong to the following elements:

ElementMotif
White White Light
Blue Blue Water
Green Green Wind
Red Red Fire
Black Black Darkness
Gray Colorless Inorganic

Optional Actions During the Game

  • Pass: Swap your hand and skip this turn.
  • Give Up: Concede and the opponent wins.

Time Expiration in Summon Phase

  • If you fail to place a piece, your hand is returned to the deck and reshuffled.

When “No Action” Pieces Face Each Other

  • This is treated as loss of will to fight, and 1 life is lost.
